Geocache Description:

A Wherigo cache based on the TV series LOST.

LOST In Weston is a role playing adventure game where you play Jack Shephard, a Doctor, and one of 72 survivors of a plane crash, Oceanic Flight 815 flying from Sydney to New York. You crash land on a strange island over a 1000 miles off course.

You find out that there is a boat anchored some 10 miles offshore and see a window of opportunity. Your mission is to make a radio transmission to the boat in order to be rescued. However, you face many tasks along the way and may encounter some of the strange animals that inhabit the island. Once rescued you will be able to find the cache.

Areas in the game consist of the Beach, Cave, Hatch, Black Rock and the Radio Tower.

You start at Sand Bay, near Weston at the posted co-ordinates. The cache will take approx 2 to 4 hours to complete and you will walk between 4 and 5½ miles. Items that you should take on your journey are a GPS, Map, paper, pen, Torch (Night only) and a sense of humour.

Please note that you do not need to trespass at any time.

Please turn up your volume control to maximum. When logging your find please do not mention any of the locations that you visit. We also require a copy of your log file (.gwl) to be emailed to us. Failure to comply will mean a deleted log entry. Click here to download the Wherigo cartridge

It's not all about the numbers. In this case it might be!!!

Oh and one more thing. Any questions that you may be asked refer to permanent items within the surrounding area and not within the cartridge. I would also recommend that you save the cartridge on a regular basis.

I would like to dedicate this cache to my family who have persevered over the last month. I would also like to thank my legs for walking in excess of 40 miles and my brain for working over 60 hours.

We hope that you enjoy the cache and don't get lost in Weston.

MEGA Hint
Be aware that certain characters and events within this cartridge have actions associated with them which may or may not be required. It all depends on how you play the game!!!

If these actions are required and are not used by you then some of the minor digits of the cache co-ordinates are not given to you at the end. You have been warned. Hence the reason for the map. With the council re-decorating one of the clues has gone AWOL. If you intend to complete this one then then please email me and I will let you have the required information.

Good Luck!

That's all folks!!!

p.s. Inside the cache container you will find 2 sets of co-ordinates to assist you in returning to your start location.
