Geocache Description:

Located on an old logging road up toward the Gauley Mountain Fire Tower. When you first get on "the flats". Ansted being downhill on your left, logging road uphill on your right.

Standard screwtop Tupperware about 6X6X7. Camo'ed. Usual stuff inside with a brass FTF keyring. Meant to place the Rt 66 Geocoin here but I forgot it at home. DUH !!

This place has been my playground since I was a kid. And my brother's before me. Spent many an hour running these hills. The road has changed a little since I was here last. The small pond to your left , if you're at the cache, is the old road. Out about a mile or so it levels off to a great camping spot. Absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Last time I was here was in 1997.
All 3 caches on the mountian can be found within an hour. The views are just awsome.
