Out at the Seymour narrows lookout.
Stop and check this view, I have always wondered why there is not a cache at this spot. I was out checking some caches today and had some with me so I decided to change that. From this view point you can see where in April 5,1958 there was the largest nonnuclear explosion in the world. They had a 75 man crew working 3 shifts and it took them 27 months to complete and the cost in excess of $3.1 million. It took 1,375 tons of explosives to do the job. The cache is a small Lock & Lock container with some small trade items, pen and a log book. The 1st to find can take a scratch and win and the 2nd to find can have the one that is left. Bring your camera when you go to this one.
