Start this cache by parking in the lot at the following coordinates: N 42 24.585 W 090 25.889
Walk through the tunnel, yes the tunnel, under US Highway 20. Please take a few minutes to enjoy the painting, yes the painting, inside the tunnel before starting your search. The painting was completed in 2007 as a community project by a small group of Galena's many talented artists. Do you recognize the scene in the painting?
Now on to the cache. Finding the cache does not require climbing in any direction and does not require an approach from the river or a walk through the tunnel. Parking on the levee near the flood gates is better.
Watch out for the many muggles in the area. We are counting on your stealth to keep this cache alive.
