Inner light may be a state of mind, but at Nelson Bay it is the inner lighthouse, with great views, interesting history and home to the Port Stephens Division of the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol.
You begin you quest at Little Beach. The adventurous can park down the bottom and walk up, or there is a car park at the lighthouse. Once up the top, I recommend you explore the lighthouse grounds where you can find out about it's history or just enjoy the views.
When you are ready to search for the cache you will need to find the path to the old Coastal Patrol building.
The cache is a small plastic container with a log book and the usually swaps. Good hunting.
