MeerRescue: Sadly, Kent's first SIDE TRACKED caches are being archived.
I recently became aware of a guideline change concerning SIDE TRACKED caches. Although this and my other SIDE TRACKED caches are not platform or track side, they are on “railway property” and, as such, would not be published under the current (Sep 2008) Groundspeak guidelines, albeit they are currently permitted, having been “grandfathered in”.
Whilst I fully support the decision of why the guidelines were put in place, I think it contradictory to allow pre guideline published SIDE TRACKED caches on “railway property” without meeting the current publishing guidelines.
