To find the Shurtleff Park Geoocache you must bring a pencil and acquire the dates engraved on the Carver War Memorial. The memorial is located at 41 53.328n 070 46.154w.

Shurtleff Park in Carver, Massachusetts is the home of the Carver War Memorial and the C.A.P. Bandstand
This nice park has become the location for some wonderful community based activities.
Including:
The Carver Farmers’ Market: Sunday afternoons, noon until 4pm, June until October
Carver Old Home Day: The last Saturday in July each year
Carver cranberry 5 miler and 2kroad race: Held in late July
Nearby King Richard's Faire perform each weekend from Labor Day through Columbus Day.
Also Edaville USA opens on weekends from Mid June until late September, Columbus Day Weekend they sponsor the National Cranberry Festival and Edaville’s Christmas Festival of Lights, begins in November and continues throughout the holiday season
