Dunnfield Crossing Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Doodah213: Well, This one has gone missing again. Since I'm not going to replace it in the near future, I'm going to archive it and if someone else wants to place a cache in this area, great! Otherwise, I may place a new one here in the future.

Geocache Description:

How far are you willing to go for a Smiley?

Cache was muggled and replaced in a nearby, more secure location on June 15, 2010. Cachers who logged a find before this time are welcome to find and record this one again

Cache is an easy find located along the Turquoise Trail in the far reaches of Worthington State Forest. The terrain around the cache is 2-2.5 but I've listed it higher because of the distances involved. Many routes are possible, the shortest being 4-5 miles round-trip including some class 4-5 terrain (my hike to place this cache was a 10.5 mile loop which involved a climb of Mt. Tammany). If you come for this cache, be sure to visit nearby Sunfish Pond, the southernmost glacial pond in the Appalachians.
