Pinewoods Lake was built in the late 1970s to provide fishing and other recreation opportunities. It is located adjacent to Highway 60, 2 miles west of Ellsinore, Missouri. Campground is closed. There is a Pavillion for cookouts as well as numerous picknic tables. NO DRINKING WATER available.
This cache is on the 1.3 mile lake trail.That runs around the 31 acre lake. The Cache is placed just off the concrete trail.This last 20-30ft is'nt wheelchair accessible
The lake is open to public fishing so bring a pole an give it a try.
