Dale Earnhardt Sr. (also known to Ronnie as "Junior's Daddy") was one of NASCARs most popular drivers, and also one of the most intimidating with his driving style. The first race I ever watched (it was on TV) was the 2001 Daytona 500 - I was not really into NASCAR yet, and turned off the TV right after the race. It wasn't until the next morning that I saw in the newpaper that the crash on the last lap of the race had actually killed him. He has become a legend not only because of his racing, but because of the dramatic event of his death.
Although his style would not be well tolerated in today's NASCAR - there is one driver that comes close - Kyle Busch. Although I grudgingly respect Kyle's talent, I am not sure I can call myself a fan yet.
My favorite driver is Carl Edwards #99
Ronnie's favorite driver is Dale Jr. #88
Heather's favorite "car" is the #41 Target car (no matter who is driving it!!

This is not a difficult find, but I feel that it is well hidden enough to not be found by accident. It 'could' be wheelchair accessible, but is right next to a road, so maybe not a good idea. Park at the entrance to the levee road, but do not drive onto it - it is closed at this point.
