Geocache Description:

I was raised in Bell Gardens and have come back to live here many times over the years and was surprised to see no caches in this town, so what better place for a first B.G. cache then a historical site.
In 1771 Antonio Maria Lugo, a corporol in the Spanish army, was given a land grant including what is now Bell Gardens, Maywood, Vernon, Huntington Park, Walnut Park, Cudahy, South Gate, Lynwood, and Commerce. His granddaughter married Wallace Woodworth and their eldest son Joseph built this colonial style house in 1924.
This is a residential area so stealth is a must. You are looking for a micro/nano that is NOT magnetic. Happy hunting!
