This cache is placed on the grounds
of the former Lancaster Lanes.
When I was a kid, Lancaster Lanes used to
send the white and black Bowling Bus out
to the suburbs in the summer and pick up
kids for somewhat of a "bowling camp."
They gave you some lessons in hopes that
you would join the fall/winter bowling leagues.
In my case, it worked. This was where I
learned to bowl. Some Green Eyed Gal fun facts:
in my "heyday" my average was nearly 200!
When I took bowling as a phys ed credit in college,
the course was taught at Lancaster Lanes,
and I earned my A by assisting the teacher
with the other students.
If you've ever bowled at Lancaster Lanes,
or know a fun fact about it,
please include it in your log.
