We wanted to place a family friendly cache for big & small "kids" alike. This cache is starting off with treats from several favorite "kid-friendly" fast food stops.
Along the Rails-to-Trails walkway which goes from Stockertown to Wind Gap, there is an easy walking or biking path. There is some minor bushwacking required at the end. Be aware of some nearby prickers and possible poison ivy vines on the trees (don't touch the "fuzzy" vines).
Enjoy the walk back - play a bit in the stream - exchange a treat and think about the days that trains came through here. Look at the old telegraph poles that line the path.
Be aware that there is hunting allowed in the area so WEAR ORANGE during hunting season.
There is a FTF treat enclosed - which could be easily used at one of those kid-friendly fast food stops.
There is a small pull-off parking area about .60 from the cache. You may park at N40 50.650 W075 16.025 - watch for cars when you cross to enter the trail.
