Macfadyena Multi-Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Micro container hidden in suburban remnant bushland partly over-run with Macfadyena unguis-cati.
A clue found at the first waypoint will lead to the final cache location. BYO pen/pencil! There is just room for the logbook, but no swaps. The original cache hiding place has deteriorated over ten years, and no longer adequate to conceal the Sistema container. It is now a micro hidden within about 2 metres of the original hide. The GPS coordinates may appear to wander a bit under the trees, so you may have to wait for numbers to settle. The cache is on the southern side of the walking track. A local bushcare group is working to eliminate the cat's claw creeper as is evident when walking through this area. There is also supposed to be a small spring in this area, but it has been elusive. Note the few nesting boxes mounted in trees around GZ.
