Driskill Mountain is the highest point in Louisiana. This cache can be found on the trail to the top of the mountain. There is a virtual cache at the summit of Driskill Mountain, but we thought another cache on the trail might entice more people to visit the highest cache in Louisiana. This is a quiet cache away from the hustle and bustle of busy life so stop and enjoy nature along the way—lizards on logs, dogwoods in bloom, and all sizes of pine cones.
The cache is a 50 cal. ammo box placed along a side trail. After finding this cache, be sure to get back on the main trail to the summit.
