This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

They are the starting point for your journey and a perfect spot to park.

Centrally located between Interstate 80 and Business 80 and accessible from both.  Perfect cache to drop or retrieve those traveling bugs and coins.

  • From Business 80 in either direction take the Watt Avenue exit.  Turn on to Longview.
  • From Interstate 80 in either direction take the Longview exit.
  • From their follow your GPSr

This is a Letterbox Hybrid so bring your stamp and stamp book.  Please leave the stamp and pad in the cache but feel free to mark your logbook with it.  The posted coordinates are for parking and the starting point of your journey.  Once at the starting point simply put away your GPSr and follow these directions to be rewarded with a Stencilrific Cache!!

Directions

  1. From the posted coordinates look towards the freeway behind the fence.
  2. Turn Right and follow the fenceline.
  3. You will pass by two Vernal Pools.  Depressions in the ground forming "mini temporary ponds"  (I am verifying that these are in fact Vernal Pools and will be putting together an Earth Cache)
  4. About 50-70 feet past the first two Vernal Pools you will come to another.
  5. Walk up to the edge of the third Vernal Pool with the freeway to your back.
  6. To your Left you will see a large bush.  I wonder what is under it?

And there you have it.  Now Stamp Away and continue on to your next caching adventure.

Remember, Practice "Cache In Trash Out"
