Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache has been placed very close to a tree, Jim's
tree. James grew up in view of this tree and his Step Grandfather
Jim had a soft spot for it, so much so that everytime he was over
from the states he had to sit at the dining table where he could
see the tree. So we are placing this cache is his memory.
The cache is placed very close to Clyne Farm and is
accessed via Clyne Common along a Public Bridleway. Although we
have stated that dogs are allowed please remember this is common
land and the sheep roam free so remember to use a lead. The cache
location offers some wonderful sea views as well as Mumbles pier
and the lighthouse.
The cache container is a 35mm Film Canister that has been
sneakily disguised. Please be careful when retrieving the cache
container as it is very close to a barbed wire fence.
The path to the cache can be muddy so plan your footwear
wisely!
The cache contained an unregistered Geocoin for the FTF.
Well done to the Mitch.Mob on being the first of many (we hope!) to
find the cache.
This is the first cache we have placed but having found
over 150 so far we hope we got it right!
