Geocache Description:

Cache is a .50 ammo box located of a side road in, by or possibly under something…

This cache is placed as a part of the Northern Armstrong County Cache Avalanche of 2008 or NACCA 2008. During ACCA 2008 some 15 or more caches was placed in mostly the northern part of the county in an initiative to introduce several new and sometimes challenging caches in the area.

The side road where the cache is located is usually only used by the Amish so it should be relatively muggler safe. Then again, some critters reside just next to the area but we are pretty sure they won’t rat you out.

Although the cache is just a few feet of the road some bushwhacking may be required here, depending on what time of year you go for this one. Then again, during the summer you should be able to pick up some raspberry on your way in. At least unless we got to them first. As always, please take care and respect the surroundings. If you do not wish to bushwhack directly to the cache there is an easier way in from either side. This would really be the approach we recommend.

The place is picked to be the entry point to the several caches in the area placed during the North Armstrong County Cache Avalanche, or NACCA for short. Coming either from Smicksburg or Rt 85 we hope this cache will make for a nice starting point in the area.

Happy Caching
