Geocache Description:

Fine place to fish, bird watch, and pick black berries. this is the first cache placed by Team Shiney. May be easier to to approach from the water side, rather then the road.

A Callaway Bayou Cache. If you are here during the warm months be sure to check out the swifts that nest under the near by bridge. If the swifts have gone to South America for the winter then you will still be able to see their mud nests under the bridge. The swifts never land on the ground constantly flying until they land on their nests. The best time to see them is in the mornings and evenings when they catch bugs on the wing over the bayou and under neighborhood street lights. Also there are the ever present fiddler crabs. While you are looking for those you might see racoon tracks. The day I placed this cache I saw a brown bunny right by the road. So there is plenty of wild life. Certificate for First to Find.
