A steep hike with some awesome views along the way, and a cache or three thrown in for free!
The elevation gain from the parking lot to the cache is about 900 feet, and most of the trail is up, up, up. You may be able to do this as a loop trail, but I have always backtracked. If you have children with you be aware that there are some sections of the trail that are a little hairy, so please keep on eye on the munchkins! You are looking for a regular-sized cylinder-shaped container wrapped in silver duct tape and appropriately camouflaged. Please note that there is an inner container about the size of a film canister in which the physical log is placed. Finders need to be attentive to reclosing the screw-on lid securely. Enjoy!
