This is on an island so a boat is required. While this is a fairly steep climb there is no brush even before you hit the trail so shorts are OK. The only reason the terrain is listed as a "5" is because I was told that any cache that required the use of a boat had to be a "5." Once you're on the island it's a "3" at the most. Eight and nine year old boys did fine with a few rest stops. The cache is in a very open area so satellite reception is excellent (6 ft. accuracy on our Etrex with WAS).
The cache is in a green ammo box. In the cache is a Toad Suck Daze (our local festival) T-shirt, a Master Craft floating key chain, a pair of sunglasses, Bug 'n Sun insect repellent/sunscreen, a Splash Bomb, and a pen. Also included is a disposable camera to be used to photograph yourself and/or your group. The film will be developed and photos posted on this cache's site. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE CAMERA!
Note - there are at least three Sugar Loaf Mountains in Arkansas, and two of them are very close to each other. CAUTION - There are two moth balls in the cache to keep insects out. Please advise children that these are not candy!
