Bampflyde Clump Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Located on the edge of Exmoor, between the small villages of North
Molton and North Heasley, lies the small ring of trees known as
Bampflyde Clump. It is believed that this group of trees was
a landmark for the local miners on their way home from the pubs in
North Molton! There are also rumors that there is an entrance to an
emergency nuclear bunker in a nearby field (though we're yet to
find it!).
The views from the clump are superb, giving panoramic views of both
Exmoor and, on a clear day, Dartmoor.
The cache is a small, clear clip-box and when set
contained:-
Logbook and pen
Pac-Man Geocoin
Amy's Amazing Adventure TB (Owned by marksteph)
Snippet Sampler CD
Six plastic army men
Badge
Plectrum
Cube Puzzle
Thanks for visiting our cache. We hope you enjoyed it!
