The old Powerhouse, currently known as the Soo Line Historical Museum, is a must to visit while in Weyburn. It is open year round and has extended hours during the summer months. On display is the Charles Wilson Silver Collection,(items from 1750 to 1970), with more than 5000 items to view. You'll see silver candlesticks, trays, figurines, china, crystal, antique furniture and much more. This is a permanent exhibit in the museum. The museum hosts a collection of artifacts used by Weyburn and district pioneers, collection of Indian artifacts and the Saskatchewan Mental Hospital display. You'll find old photos and newspapers of Weyburn and the surrounding area. The friendly staff at the museum will provide you with much more to see and do in Weyburn. The staff at the museum know of the cache, but not where it is, so please do not bother them with " where is the cache"!
There is parking at the museum. You are looking for a small plastic fruit container which has a magnet attached to it. Large enough for small swag and small TB's/coins. Reach in from the back and it will be an easy find to retrieve!! Please rehide exactly as we placed it and BYOP.
