A drive-by cache in a nice area.
Morris’s Farm stood on Dean Lane but only the old barn is in existence now. Legend has it that about 200 years ago one of the Morris children had been rebuked for wrong doing. He was a simple child and remained hidden in the barn for so long that he starved to death in the building.
Several years ago, United Utilities took over the barn and opened it up as a camping barn, along with two others in their area, but I have never seen this one used as such. Maybe the above story put people off!
