Geocache Description:

This cache is along a walk on what I have termed the ‘Portsmouth Coastal Highway’ (PCH). Officially, it’s along the Langstone Harbour Waterside Walk but I felt PCH sounded better and it reminds me (sort of!) of my road trip along the real Pacific Coast Highway in America. Imagine, if you dare!

This series of micro and nano caches was inspired by the ‘Water to Follow’ series in West London (GC17QD5) and will take you eventually in a circular walk around Portsea Island. I hope you will enjoy both the walk and the views as it’s often somewhere you drive past but never manage to explore.

This cache is along part of the old Portsmouth to Arundel Canal.

To access this cache, walk to the edge of the old lock and sit on the rocks awhile. This is an area with a high muggle presence so please take great care retrieving and replacing the cache.

Nearby is the Thatched House Pub for refreshment as well as the PCH: Dig for Victory cache (GC1AD5Y)

NB. This cache is magnetic. Please take your own pen/pencil and write on both sides of the logbook.
