Little Island Interior Traditional Cache
MadMin: Due to the lack of finds in a lengthy amount of time and no response from the owner, I'm archiving this cache to open the area up for other caches.

A short sandy walk on the island's interior trails brings you to this cache, a small lock-n-lock container.
Little Island (really a peninsula) is one of my favorite places and one of the Upper Cape's local secrets. (Hopefully I won't be in big trouble for sharing it!) I think this is a perfect place for a walk in the salt air and to watch the sun set over Buzzards Bay.
At the very end of Little Island Road you will find a small parking area for only three or four cars. While the immediate attraction for most is the beautiful shoreline, I placed this cache so visitors won't miss checking out the interior trails. There are many interesting trees along the way, but my favorite part is walking into the cedar "mini forest," the area where this cache is placed. You may not be able to see the water from the cache, but you'll still be able to hear its soothing sounds. Enjoy!
