Geocache Description:

Take a seat and work it out.

This cache can be very challenging at the wrong time of the day. There was a 50% chance of being there at the wrong time on the day it was hidden, it will be the same on September 22nd. Also it is probably better not to try if it is raining near by.

The worst day of all to try is 21st June.

Update:- Some new red marks have been recently painted at ground level, they are not relevant to the cache.

Please note that to comply with the access rules ideally you should arrive at the cache (not the seat) by boat.

Take care near deep water. Keep children under very close supervision. Please respect the privacy of those close by.

You are looking for a magnetic nut ((please bring a pen) or describe to me in an email what the nut is attached to)).

IMPORTANT NOTE
For many years the solution gave a very precise location that was well within a metre of the cache.
Then, suddenly, it jumped about 4 metres South. Since then it has periodically moved (maybe once or twice a year). At the time of writing it is between 2 and 3 metres South of where it used to be.
So if there is no cache within 1 metre of your solution to the puzzle I suggest you try looking up to 5 metres North.

I can’t work out why these movements occur, any explanations would be welcome!
