This is a 5 stage cache that basically follows old Quadbike trails in the area. The area is now under
WV DNR control as WMA Lands & NO Motorized equipment is permitted !

Avast me hearties & fellow bilge rats! Welcome to the Pirate King Cache !
Parking Coords are N 40º 11.528' W 080º 33.097'
This is a 5 stage cache that basically follows Quadbike trails in the area.
Stage 2 be where all mutinous scallywags be hung by th' neck. Th' old Hangin Tree has died & fell over but you'll find the info for stage 3 nearby, by looking for the crossbones.
Stage 3 be th' site where th' ole Captain`s
House stood. Beware the Bones !
At Stage 4, Ole Capt'n Snedeker will give ya some numbers t' find his Booty !
For the FINAL N coords ... ADD 56 to Stage 2 N coords
then ADD Cap'n Sned's day in
August to that.
For the FINAL W coords ... ADD 51 to Stage 2 W coords
then ADD Cap'n Sned's age to
that.
Use the actual coords for Stage 2 ... NOT the coords you FIND at Stage 2
Now go find the Treasure !
Some bushwhackin' may be required near th' third stage,
fourth stage & the final.
This be a great cache fer th' youngsters (nay matter how old ye be), as th' final cache swag be chock full o' Buccanneer Booty !
Children of 8 or older should be able to make the
hike ... but they will need some adult assistance in obtaining the stages. It's about a mile & a quarter hike - one way ... & about 300 ft elevation change ... so it's a pretty good uphill grade. This area has just recently been changed to WMA official public hunting area, (7/10), so we'll see how long this cache lasts. As with any HUNTING AREA .. wear plenty of BLAZE ORANGE during hunting seasons !
Please try to make trade with Pirate related stuff ... even a small bag of Silver Booty (coins) or Jewels will do in a pinch.
I will try to restock the Pirate Swag as needed, so make sure the kids get some Pirate Booty ! (Even ye older kids should take somethin' as a souvenir o' this cache!)
Please do not destroy any of the stages & be sure to hide the final as good as you found it or better.
