The cache is a cylindrical container approx. 8"x3" with room for only 2 or 3 very small items. Placed on a miniature hogback with interesting rocks and a few scraggly trees.
Turn off Rooney Rd at the Rooney Rd. Sports Complex. Long time locals will remember this as the former site of the Jefferson County dump. Park at the soccer fields and walk around the north side of the hill to an old road. It should be less than a 15 minute walk from parking.
Watch out for cactus, barbed wire and snakes. Read the hint if you dont want to poke around too much.
Please replace the log book before any other items and make sure the container is closed tightly.
