Hiking Trail to Hawk Ridge
The cache is located along a trail that takes you out to Hawk Ridge, south of Marathon.
At some point in the hike your GPS will lead you in a direction away from the trail. Follow where it is leading you. There is a trail going off the main trail that will lead you to the cache location.
After you find the cache backtrack to the split in the trail and continue to follow the trail to Hawk Ridge where you will find a viewing area that overlooks Lake Superior. Below the ridge you will see the main line of the CPR. Off to the left you will see the secondary treatment plant for the pulp mill located in Marathon.

The cache is only large enough to carry a logsheet, you will need to bring your own writing instrument. The cache is well hidden. Please return it back to its original location so it will be just as difficult find for the next cacher
