Steep walk down to the location and along the rocky beach.
Cache is the usual "lock n' load" container camoflouged before we went to the site but turned out to be irrelevent for this location. Access to the site is down a steep winding path down to the lake blasted out of the hill side, presumably by the City of Vernon to access the water outflow pipe located nearby. Footing is loose at times so be careful. Cache contains typical swab sourced from a couple year's Christmas Crackers (thanks Mum!). Suggest stout walking shoes or hiking boots which you'll need to get to the cache. Brother in law believes that the site may have bees/wasps and rattlesnakes in summmer so be wary of those.
