Are you fascinated by geocoin icons? Will drive half way across town to discover a coin, just to collect the icon? If you answered yes, then you are an icon addict.

Every time a new Geocoin is approved by Groundspeak, an icon is assigned to it. The designer has the option of using the generic icon and not paying a fee, or if the designer of the coin pays the appropriate fee, two new icons are created and will forever represent that coin. The designer of the coin will create a large icon, 32 by 32 pixels which appears on the coin’s home page, on any cache page where the coin is located as well as showing beside the cache name on search pages. The icon will also appear on the trackables page of your profile when you find and log the coin. This is your icon collection. Another icon, 16 by 16 pixels is also designed and it will show up in your inventory, on your profile page when you have picked up and logged the coin and have the coin in your possession. This icon is temporary and will disappear when the coin is logged into a new cache.

It is an amazing bit of graphic art to see what icon designers can create on a canvas that is only 32 by 32 pixels. It definitely takes some talent.



In order to solve this puzzle, you will have to find the official Groundspeak name for the geocoin represented by each icon. Using that name, fill in the blanks and circles in the same order as the icons are in the picture. When you are done, the letters inside the circles will tell you where to find the cache.

All geocoin names have the word "Geocoin" on the end and to save some space, we will drop the word "Geocoin" from all names.

We will get you started with the first icon. The official name is "Jangor Caching Canada Geocoin". Drop the "Geocoin at the end and fill in "Jangor Caching Canada".

Now it is up to you to fill in the rest and find the cache. Be sure to use all the spaces and circles.
