Geocache Description:

Another cache in the "Poplar Creek Bike Trail" series. The cache spot was too inviting to pass up, but it is really too close to a parking lot to fit into the series, so I decided to make it a short Multi to extend the walk a little (but not much).

I noticed that the Poplar Creek Bike Trail doesn't really have many caches nearby that are easily accessible from the trail - so I thought I'd start adding a few. The goal of the series is encourage folks to get out on the trail, by bike or on foot, and enjoy this nice forest preserve, rather than just going for park'n'grabs.
The hides are not all quick bike'n'grabs, though, and in the summer you can expect to have to wade through some tall grasses and/or somewhat scratchy undergrowth, so dress accordingly (bike shorts may not be the ideal attire).

This cache is a short 3-stage Multi, in order to keep it from being such a park'n'grab.
At the posted coordinates you will find a clue that will lead you to the the place where you will find the coordinates for the Final.
Stages 1 & 2 are very close to the trail, stage 3 involves a short bushwhack.

I hope you enjoy the trail - this part of the trail is especially enjoyable in the summer, as it is the most shady part of the whole loop and offers a welcome reprieve from the heat.
