This cache is located on the NSW/Queensland border and is reached by a track on the NSW side of the border fence that starts at the border crossing on Numinbah Road.
The cache is located under the overhang of these caves which are unlikely to have been used by bushrangers. There has been evidence found that shows that aboriginals used to camp in the caves and that they were of some significance to them. Be sure to walk about 150 m further from the cache to see the best of the caves. Water is sometimes available - but best to take your own. The track is a bit overgrown in places and has a few steep pinches. Not suitable for young children. Cache is a round plastic container painted brown. Allow a minimum of 2 hours return.
