Church of
St Clement, Burnham Overy

The Church of St Clement is situated in the tiny village of Burhmam
Overy Town, Norfolk. Although called a "town", it consists of
little more than half a dozen cottages and a church.
The church is probably Saxon and has undergone many changes in the
last 9 or 10 centuries. It has some interesting features such as a
floor piscina, the only one in Norfolk and a medieval wall painting
restored in 1984. The churchyard contains graves of sailors from
the time when Overy was a busy port. It is also quite likely that
Horatio Nelson would have walked through the churchyard on his way
from Burnham Thorpe to the Staithe.
The coordinates will take you close to the church where you will
need to find a memorial plaque. "In Memory of abcd
efghijkl"
The micro is a 35mm film canister containing a log book and some
“micro swaps” including a pound coin for the FTF, a mini Bulldog
clip, a round dice, a ring, a plastic elephant and a paper clip. To
get the final co-ordinates, substitute the numerical values of the
actual letters in the name, using A=1, B=2, etc, so for instance if
the first letter of the name is "M" then a=13. Then use the
following formula:
N 52 k(j-c).(c-a)g(f+a) E 000 (b-f)(b-j).(i+a)i(g)
If any body would
like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you
could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the
Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
