This special event features caching activities outdoors with some
meeting space inside; please sign in Visitor Register on lower
level at the River Bend Farm Visitor Center, 287 Oak Street,
Uxbridge, MA.
Great opportunity for beginner as well as seasoned cachers to
try out searching with their new high tech toys. Teaming up is
encouraged. Rumor has it there will be a WHERIGO demonstration with
a virtual maze to be navigated. There may be a search for an
invisible rabbit and/or a colorful egg hunt for kids of all ages,
plus the return of the 200 yard dash for cache.
EVENT BUTTONS are courtesy of Henry & Elly
aka HenryDurant. They have offered to make personalized copies for
each member of teams that have posted their attendance by April
Fool's Day; you may revise your 'will attend' log to list
individual names or send that info by email to them through their
profile.
NAMETAGS, Some make their own Team name tags, but blank "my name
is" stick ons will be available to help in your meet and greet
activities.
REFRESHMENTS include hot chocolate to complement the
bring-a-snack table for which you are welcome to bake or buy, hot
dishes are welcome.
TRAVEL BUG exchange table will be available. To facilitate
smooth transfer, please consider posting a note in advance to drop
the TBs you will be bringing. Please take no more than one for each
one you bring. If you have an extra one to drop, that will allow a
newcomer to grab one if they can help it along. Please sign them in
and out on sheet of paper that we use for answering any questions
that arise during the week which follow. Log them out on website as
soon as you can, but do allow some time if they were not dropped
early.
CACHE ITEM exchange will be swap. You are invited to bring trade
items (with value about $5) either gift wrapped or not for the
season (April Fools, Springtime, Easter, Celtics Pride, etc). At
about 3pm, we will start drawing one name at a time for someone who
is in the room to pick out an item, then pick the next name. We
will continue this until all items are picked. If someone is still
out on the trail, their name will be returned to the basket. If you
must leave early, something can be arranged.

Directions for those who want them:
Use exit 10A from MassPike for route 146 South, then take exit 3
for Route 16 East to Uxbridge Center, turn left on Route 122 North,
in 1-1/2 mile turn right at next traffic light onto Hartford Avenue
at CVS, then in one mile turn right on Oak Street. Visitor Center
is large red barn.
From Rhode Island, take Route 146 North to third exit in Mass,
Route 16 and follow as above (there are visitor center signs at
each turn).
From the east for those traveling I-495, use exits 19 (rt 109)
or 20 (rt 85) westbound to Route 16 and turn west. Drive through
Milford into Mendon and look for Hartford Avenue to turn right,
then in four miles turn left onto Oak Street.
PLEASE USE PARKING LOT FOR HEALTH CENTER AT THE CORNER OF OAK ST
AND HARTFORD AVE TO LEAVE SPACES AT VISITOR CENTER FOR GENERAL
PUBLIC.

This is the sixth annual springtime special event which has
traditionally been held on the Sunday that Day Light Saving Time
begins. Since this year the clocks moved forward four weekends
earlier in the middle of Maple Sugaring, we decided to stick with
first Sunday in April.
