Starting at 1st. St and temple canyon(Cr-3) go up 4.3 miles to concrete pillar(T marks spot) turn left.go up 100 feet park on left. If you have a four-wheel drive, keep driving, or get out and hike.
This is a moderate to difficult four wheel path. But can be done. Its also a fun hike(about an hour). three or four inclines but a lot of semi-level walking. It overlooks canon city. Our whole family went on this including my 6 year old.
cache is in an ammo can. Contents:supply line, sun glasses, rubber ball. A cool homemade pin cushion my wife made, garage hook, etc. If you wanted to keep going on this trail it would take you to an old mining camp.( About another half hour). We have found an old cave with a stick and leather ladder inside, hidden by a hundred year old scrub oak. No visitors but us for a hundred years I bet.(Maybe a future cache?)
