Geocache Description:

Reversal of Fortune Series

This is a series of easy park and grab caches in which you’ll have to put your cachemobile into reverse after finding the prize. Yeah, you guessed it… they’re mostly on dead-end roads. A lot of folks don’t find these very challenging, but I tend to think the other way. Whenever I see a dead-end service road while heading down the highway at high speed, I think to myself, “How do you get over there?” It’s not always as easy as you think. Some of them will be easy to get to. Some will be challenging. I hope to introduce some new and interesting containers along the way as well. I hope you’ll enjoy this series. I’m going to enjoy hiding the caches for sure.

ROFS – Wilson’s Creek
I was heading back from another hide when I thought I saw the road veer off and end at the creek… and my brain obviously told me I had to hide one here. It’s really not a dead end road, but it’s close enough and the area is pretty. I decided not to camo the container as it might warp its thin-walled container such that the lid wouldn’t snap shut… so you should spot it without much trouble.

The container is small, but has room for small trade items and geocoins for sure. It even has a window in which you can see the contents inside. Bring your own pen and don’t forget to snap the lid back on tight as I don’t think it is a very water proof container.

FTF gets a prize by George.
