Finding the cache should be easy. Finding the log will take a little more time. We had almost 200 plastic eggs after an egg hunt this year so we felt we had to get rid of some of them. The log is in one of the plastic eggs in the cache. Please do not sign the geocaching sheet with the pen. Some of the other eggs contian small trinkets and one has a geocoin. Feel free to place small items in any empty egg. Please close all eggs before leaving. Feel free to place the egg with the log anywhere in the cache (top, bottom, or somewhere in the middle). The cache is less than 15 feet from the road. Best parking is in the turn around at the small building, less than 100 ft from the cache. Enjoy.
6/13/08 - UPDATE: The paved roadway up to the loop is now closed at the turn-off for the interpretive trail and there are numerous parking spaces along the road here. This cache may be much harder to get to without muggles around and we may move the cache soon if it is a problems for cachers, although you now can park about 15 ft from the cache. Please cover very well and let us know if you have problems.
