Geocache Description:

The challenge we set for this cache is - can your passenger get this without leaving the car?

Instow is a popular holiday village with a fine sandy beach. It is situated on the Taw/Torridge estuary and has good views across the waters to Braunton Burrows, Crow Point and the fishing village of Appledore. It is easily accessable from the Tarka Trail, which is well used by walkers and cyclists. There is an original signal box to the south of the village, as well as the station platform; a reminder of the railway which used to run from Barnstaple to Bideford . There is parking along the front and fine places for refreshment.
