Geocache Description:

This is a quick Cache not far from the Waltham Abbey junction of the M25, an ideal place to swop TB's large & small. Parking is available at N51.40.699 E000.02.502

This cache is of Ammo box type and at time of placing contains the following items
Log Book
Disposable Camera (please take your picture and leave behind)
Cd's & Dvd's
Seeing is Believing wristbands
Bert race to GC10 NQT TB picked up ion Barbados
Sam the (snow) man TB (one of our own TB'S)

There are two pubs nearby one of which is a reminder of the local volunteers who were trained to use rifles at the time of the possible French Invasion in the early 19th century.

The thatched shelter at the corner of the car park was originally constructed at the end of the 19th century by the Buxton family as a cover to the water supply for local residents
