Geocache Description:

A fairly quick and easy cache and dash which makes an ideal break for those long motorway journeys! This is an 1.3 ltr box, so also makes a good place to drop off those TBs and Coins

leave the motorway at junction 34 and head to lancaster , there is a holiday inn on the right and is the best place to park to do the cache (park in the carpark on the left for easy access to the river side), its a 300 yard walk up the river to the cache site take time and enjoy the river views and the very large rabbits if you travel 1/2 mile down the road you will come to a petrol station, fish and chip shop and a buttie shop if you need to fill up and get some food, you could park on the industrial estate and walk up the river side to the cache this would take around 1 hour. but you would get to see the fantastic lune aquaduct that carrys the lancaster canal over the river
