Cachetour an der Wiege der JU-52 "Tante Ju", das hier durch Hugo Junkers entwickelt und gebaut wurde.
Die JU-52, unter Flugzeugfreunden auch liebevoll TANTE JU benannt, wurde hier von Hugo Junkers entworfen und gebaut. Es ist die dreimotorige Ausführung JU-52/3m aus dem Jahr 1932. Sie ging aus der einmotorigen JU-51/1m hervor.
Die JU-52 bildete in den 30er Jahren das Rückgrat der Lufthansa. Sie wurde von Norwegen bis Südafrika eingesetzt und bot ihren Passagieren eine bis dahin nicht bekannte Bequemlichkeit.
Dieser Cache führt Dich durch den Dessau-Roßlauer Ortsteil Kleinkühnau. Daß dieser Ortsteil heute mehr Einwohner hat, als Großkühnau, verdankt er der Flugzeugindustrie.
Europas erste Flugplatz-Betonpiste wurde hier gebaut, Hugo Junkers entwarf zahlreiche Flugzeuge, baute hier die Prototypen. Die Kleinkühnauer Siedlung entwickelte sich im Zuge dieser Entwicklungen. Der Cache stellt Dir unseren Ort kurz vor und wird Dich zu Flugplatz und Tower führen.
Der Tante-Ju-Cache beginnt am Technikmuseum Hugo Junkers, dessen Besuch zur Lösung des Caches nicht notwendig ist. Dennoch empfehle ich auf jeden Fall einen Abstecher.
Rad-Touristen, die dem Fernwanderweg R1 Calais -> St. Petersburg folgen, fahren hier direkt vorbei. Entsprechend ist der Startpunkt auch zu finden...
An der Einfahrt bei N 51° 50.203 E 12° 12.519 (Start-Koordinaten) seht Ihr ein Verkehrszeichen, das eine Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung anzeigt. Ab hier darf man nur noch „a“ km/h fahren.
Unsere Kleinkühnauer Schule hat ein 1899 gebautes Gebäude. Ihr findet es bei N 51° 50.302 E 12° 11.541. „B“ große Fenster zeigen zur Straße.
Gesellschaftlicher Mittelpunkt unseres Ortes ist das Amtshaus. Ihr findet es bei N 51° 50.275 E 12° 11.248. Finde heraus, wann der Amtshausverein gegründet wurde. Er organisiert zahlreiche Veranstaltungen im Ort. Multipliziere die vier Ziffern miteinander. Das Ergebnis ist „c“.
Begib Dich nun nach N 51°50.256 E 12° 10.771. Hier befindet sich Kleinkühnaus Spielplatz für unsere Jüngsten. Wichtig, dass es in unserer Zeit auch so was noch gibt. Neben den Spielgeräten findest Du „d“ große Steinblöcke.
Von hier aus kannst Du den Flugplatz sehen, von dem Du bereits im Museum einiges erfahren konntest. Nach der Wende haben sich hier mehrere Firmen angesiedelt. Das ist für unseren Ort wichtig. Deshalb möchte ich an dieser Stelle auch darauf aufmerksam machen: Welche Hausnummer hat die Firma mit dem höchsten Gebäude? Die Hausnummer ist „e“.
Du hast nun alle notwendigen Daten gesammelt, um den Cache zu heben. Ich hoffe, dass Dir der Besuch unseres durch die Flugzeugentwicklung gewachsenen Ortsteiles samt Fluggelände und Museum gefallen hat.

The JU-52, under friends also lovingly called “Tante Ju” (“Anntie Ju”) was developed and build by Hugo Junkers. It is the three-engine-version JU-52/3m, developed in 1932. It’s the successor of the JU-52/1m, which used only one engine.
The JU-52 was the backbone of the “Lufthansa” in the 30’s. “She” was used from Norway to South Africa. The passengers experianced a never known comfort.
This cache guides you through Dessau-Roßlau’s district Kleinkühnau. Thanks to the aviation industry today we own more citizens than Großkühnau (Large-Kühnau).
Europes first concrete runway for planes accrued here. Hugo Junkers developed the prototypes here. Our district was increasing along this growing. The cache will introduce you to our district Kleinkühnau, you will get from the runway to the tower.
Let’s start at the Hugo Junkers Technical Museum. The visit of the museum itself is not necessary to find the cache. But I’d like to recommend you to visit it.
If you come along the Euro-Route “R1” Calais->St. Petersburg, you’ll cross the museum.
At the entrance to the museum at N51°50.203 E12°12.519, you’ll find a traffic sign. You have to reduce your speed to “a” km/h.
One of the houses of our school was build in 1899. You’ll find it at N51°50.302 E12°11.541. “b” large windows are showing to the street.
Social meetingpoint of Kleinkühnau is the “Amtshaus”. You can find it at N51°50.275 E12°11.248. The association “Amtshausverein” arranges numerous events. In which year it was founded? Multiply the four digits, the result is “c”.
Now go to N51°50.256 E12°10.771, that’s our playground for the youngest. It is important to find such places too in our hurried time. Near the playthings you find “d” blocks of stone.
Now you can see the aerodrome (maybe you already know it from the museum?). After the Wende in 1989 some companies settled here. This is very important for our district. So please find out the street number of the company with the highest house. This number is “e”.
