Threshing Bee Traditional Cache
Trillium03: Apparently the tractor has been moved & a new house is in it's location. Since we won't be in the area for awhile, unfortunately, have to archive it. Thanks to all who have visited this tractor![:)]

This magnetic cache is located at the "Threshing Bee" in the town of Midale, Saskatchewan. July 5, 1937 Midale recorded the highest temperature in Canada, a hot 113 degrees Fahrenheit! (45 degrees Celsius) Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan also recorded the same temperature on the same day!
Midale was named for Dr. R.M.Mitchell, who served the area from Moose Jaw to Estevan (1899 - 1903), and the first settler in the district, Mr. Ole Dale. They took the first two letters of Mitchell and the last name Dale and got Midale.
Be sure to visit the Midale Museum and Heritage Village. Check for the spring/summer hours.
The Souris Valley Antique Association puts on an annual Threshing Bee, featuring antique vehicles and farm equipment, which is a must to see.
Crop Circle formations have also been reported in the Midale area.
You are looking for a magnetic key holder. Please be respectful of this beautiful old tractor and do not destroy any part of it. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it. BYOP. Parking is available right near by.
