This has always been one of my favorite areas in the spring. The rolling soft green hills in the background contrast with the volcanic rocks scattered everywhere as if giants played a mad game of bowling here in the very distant past. While at the cache site, look across the road and you'll see another rock wall. If you continue around the curve of the road and then head back, you'll see another wall. These are not the typically tightly stacked walls you see in the Copperopolis area but because these rocks are more round you'll see lots of daylight peeking through the walls.
The cache hide is supposed to be very easy here to prevent cachers from being tempted to invade major poison oak areas and snake hides.
Please replace cache exactly as you found it to minimize the chance of it getting muggled. Have fun!
