Geocache Description:

Wherefore art thou, Ammo Can?
This cache is hidden off of a rest stop (picnic area) ramp, up a little ridge. A small amount of bushwhacking is required.

I love ammo can caches, who doesn't? They come in a variety of sizes, from really big to quite small, plus, they are easier to find than micros and they hold a lot more treasure! This cache is my tribute to the lowly ammo can.

You are looking for the world's smallest ammo can (see photos). This thing is about the size of a nickel! It is hidden with a log book and a pencil. I included a small geocoin for the first to find. Please don't take the can (it is so small some have mistaken it's brethern for swag!). Please only leave swag or bugs that will fit in this little can.

This cache is hidden in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. If you are heading West on I-10 pull off to the picnic area rest stop (it is past the town of Welfare and before the city of Comfort, about 35 miles from San Antonio). If you are heading the other way, turn around somewhere and go back, you will be glad that you did, trust me. Park in the lot and walk in the direction of the ramp going back to the highway. Walk up to the little ridge with the trees and the bushes. There you will find what I think is my best hide ever. Have fun and please put it back as you found it. Thanks!
