Near the merger of CR-205 into CR-105
The cache is near the upper watershed of the Pedernales and Blanco Rivers, by the merger of CR-105 into CR-205 in Blanco County.
Coming from the North, go South off of TX-281 onto CR-205.
Travel about halfway to the City of Blanco. The cache is located slightly before CR-205 merges into CR-105.
(Hint: watch for the change in the road surface).
Going northerly on Tx-281 from downtown Blanco: turn left on 7th Street (less than 1/2-mile from the Old Courthouse).
Follow 7th Street, it will turn into CR-105 which will eventually (about 7 miles) merge into CR-205. The cache is located just after the County Roads merge.
(Hint: watch for the change in the road surface).
The cache is very well camoflaged, but is easy to get to if you park at the gate pulloffs located at this hilltop crossing.
The views are magnificent: to the North, you look towards the Bamburger Ranch and the Lyndon B. Johnson Homestead Ranch (near Stonewall, Texas); to the South, you'll see the Blanco Valley, stretching about 9-miles towards the beautiful Blanco River.
