Geocache Description:

Church Micro 10320...Cradley will take you into St Peter’s Cradley churchyard. This cache has been changed from a Multi to a Traditional to increase footfall and fun. It is hidden with full permission.

St Peter's was built in 1789 and the burial ground around the church dates from this time. Other parts were added at different times, the latest bit in the 1960s. We have a number of Graves Commission War Graves and, near the cache, a memorial commemorating a soldier who lost his life in the Boer War. A variety of organisations are partnering to clear the churchyard and make it a pocket park for the local community. There are bird boxes, bug hotels and bees in the churchyard. Enjoy and picnic with a the view by the developing meadow orchard with a lovely view over Cradley Heath. The cache is a micro with space for a log book only.
