Geocache Description:

Beware of the Mugglers!

Many many moons ago, before the Earth was round, there lived an Indian maiden near this spot.

The maiden, named Blisia, was the keeper of the soup. The soup she made once a month was greatly coveted by her tribe and the tribe over the wide river. The two tribes would come together for great celebration on the days when Blisia made her soup.

Blisia fell in love with the Warrior, Jandal, of the tribe over the river and they were married. After they were married Blisia stopped making her soup. This infuriated both tribes and they separated Blisia and Jandal to their own tribes, only allowing them to be together once a month. Blisia continued once again making her soup and when the two tribes were together she could be with Jandal.

Moons beyond count have come and gone since the time of Blisia. The great river has long since dried up and been replaced by houses. But even still, once a month, all the magpies in the area go bald. It is said the magpies group together in the night, making a bridge over a roaring river that only exists in the spirit world for the spirits of Blisia and Jandal to cross. Their footsteps back and forth over the river wear the feathers off the tops of the magpies heads.

Pay close attention when the air is calm, you may still smell the soup.
