Photobucket CACHE IS IN A CEMETERY THE ONLY ONE IN ELK CREEK JUST ABOUT A WALK UP.

Elk Creek Cemetery headstones transcribed by Veryl Kirk and daughter Loa in the summer of 1966. They divided the cemetery into four sections and each grave was numbered to show relationship to other graves. They were not professionals at this and didn't really know what they were doing, but did their best to record what was there. At that time, there was talk of building a dam that would flood the cemetery, so they undertook this project. Currently, information about later burials may be obtained from the Willows Cemetery District WELL BIG BEAR IS FROM ELK CREEK AND I HAVE LOTS OF FAMILY HERE MY LAST NAME IS BEDFORD AND THERE ARE QUITE A FEW OF US HERE YOU SHOULD BE STANDING BY A MAY & JOHN SOLTH WHEN YOU FIND THE CACHE THEY WERE MY GRANDPARENTS. DA SHE OUT LIVED 3 HUSBANDS SHE WAS A BEDFORD A SOLTH AND A DENNIS. I NEW ALL 3. HAVE FUN CACHE ON BIG BEAR.
